Let the Local Shopping Begin!

SHOP-LOCAL-2015v2

It’s hard to believe it’s already nearing the end of November!  We’ve been so busy trying to buy a house in midtown Harrisburg, PA that we’ve missed a lot of flea markets. Now that our house closing is finally scheduled and before we plunge into a major renovation, we can start looking around for some weekend adventures. This post is a bit late as several good markets are happening today! But don’t let that stop you, we’ve found several other upcoming markets worth visiting, which we’ve listed below.

2015 November – December Flea & Holiday Markets

HBG Flea
Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center
1110 3rd St, Harrisburg PA, 17102
phone: 717.412.4342
Saturday November 21, 10 – 4pm
HBG is the new kid on the block and we are really excited to visit the market today (once again sorry for the late notice) The good news is they will have a flea market the first satruday  of every month – so if you miss them in November you’ll have another chance soon. Check out their website and Facebook page to see which vendors will be selling there.

As always, help your local shop keepers, artisans and vendors by shopping local and and small. The big box stores and chains get enough of our money, so try and remember that you can make a big difference in someones life by spending your dollars thoughtfully and locally. Enjoy and let us know if you find anything good!
