‘Look At It This Way’ is one of those shops, where even from the outside you know it’s going to become a fast favorite. The vibe inside is eclectic and fun. As you explore the interior spaces what at first glance appears as a haphazard approach to displaying merchandise, soon takes on a charmingly curated feel. It is sensory overload for sure…but in a good way. I could have taken photos for hours!

Rodney and Jesse, the owners, have mastered the art of grouping collectibles for maximum impact! If you want to get ideas for how to reuse, up cycle and display your vintage and flea market finds ‘Look At It This Way’ will be inspirational. This shop will get your creative mojo moving.

If you love the vintage look but don’t have the patience to scour flea markets and yard sales shop here – their prices are affordable and there’s such a variety of goods to choose from you’ll have a hard time leaving empty-handed.

I got a kick out of the clever up-cycled assemblages (real works of art) throughout the shop and created by Rodney. He’s had many years of experience as a floral designer and it’s evident with the layout and design of the shop. I can only image the creative arrangements he must design for local events, wish I had some kind of event to put on just to have him decorate. I’ve heard that Christmas time is when the decorations in the shop really come to life,  visitors come from all around to see the festive holiday atmoshphere. We’ll make sure to stop back in and share our visit with you then.

Every place I looked, was filled with clever ideas and some pretty wonderful vintage finds. I have my eye on a mid-century modern credenza – hoping the lady who put it on reserve doesn’t show, so it might be available soon. We bought a little guitar which needs some TLC, another good project for my husband (Landcrafted.com).

We had a really fun visit with Rodney and Jesse, they are super welcoming and great to chat with, but since it was after lunch, we needed to head out for something to eat. Luckily for us the first floor of the barn, which houses Look At It This Way, is Fabio’s, a family run Italian restaurant, so we only had to walk down to the driveway for a bite to eat.

If you shop online you can also find some of what Rodney and Jesse sell on their eBay shop. If you’re in the Grantville, PA, area be sure to visit their shop, it’s a lot of fun and packed full of clever ideas and unique merchandise.
